ITALY, Apr. 19, 2015 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 36: Four wins in a row for Catania. After their success against Avellino, Varese and Trapani, Catania continued their sensational form in the Serie B with a 2-1 victory over Latina this Sunday.
Catania dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Maniero in the 16th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Catania players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Sciaudone in the 62nd minute.
Gli Elefanti climbed to 12nd place with 44 points from 36 games, 2 points behind FC Bari 1908.
