Serie B (Week 37) : Catania beats Ternana 2-0
ITALY, Apr. 24, 2015 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 37: Five wins in a row for Catania. After their success against Avellino, Varese, Trapani and Latina, Catania continued their sensational form in the Serie B with a 2-0 victory over Ternana this Friday.
Catania dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Maniero in the 45th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Catania players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Castro in the 77th minute.
Gli Elefanti climbed to 11st place with 47 points from 37 games, only one point behind Virtus Lanciano, which has a game in hand.
