Serie B (Week 39) : Avellino beats Pescara 3-2
ITALY, May. 3, 2015 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 39: After three straigth victories against Modena, Virtus Lanciano and Pro Vercelli, the Delfini lost 3-2 against Avellino.
Pescara had started off well by taking the lead in the 12th minute with a goal by Pettinari. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Lupi nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Castaldo '63 on penalty, Zito '77 and Kone '83).
Pescara Calcio are down in 7th place with 57 points from 39 games, 2 points behind AC Perugia.
