Serie B (Week 39) : Latina defeats Varese 2-1
ITALY, May. 2, 2015 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 39: After their 1-1 draw against Pro Vercelli on April 28 and 0-0 draw against Perugia on April 28, Latina bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Varese this Saturday.
Culina opened the score in the 25th minute, before seeing Latina catch up in the 43rd minute thanks to Ammari. 1-1 at half time. Latina eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Bruscagin in the 52nd minute.
US Latina Calcio climbed to 14th place with 46 points from 39 games, tie on points with Modena FC, which has a game in hand.
