ITALY, Apr. 30, 2016 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 39: The match between Ascoli and Salernitana ended in a 2-2 draw on Saturday.
Ascoli players started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Cacia Daniele ('13, '18) while Salernitana only scored once Ikonomidis Christopher ('33). However, even though they were leading 2-1 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Salernitana with a saving goal from Bagadur Ricardo in the 90th minute.
Ascoli Calcio 1898 climbed to 14th place with 46 points from 39 games, tie on points with Virtus Lanciano.
