Serie B (Week 10) : Verona defeats Pro Vercelli 3-0
ITALY, Oct. 22, 2016 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 10: Two wins in a row for Hellas Verona. After their 1-4 win against Ascoli on October 15, the Gialloblu continued their sensational form in the Serie B with a 3-0 victory over Pro Vercelli this Saturday.
Hellas Verona dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Bessa Daniel in the 36th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Gialloblu further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Pazzini Giampaolo '49 and Ganz Simone '73).
Hellas Verona remains in first place with 23 points from 10 games, a 5-point lead over runner-up AS Cittadella.
