Serie B (Week 29) : Perugia beats Avellino 5-0
ITALY, Mar. 4, 2017 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 29: After their 1-1 draw against Frosinone on February 28, the Grifoni returned to winning ways with a 5-0 victory over Avellino this Saturday.
Perugia dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Di Carmine Samuel in the 38th minute. Leading 2-0 at the break, the Grifoni further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Laverone Lorenzo '71/own and Terrani Giovanni '75).
AC Perugia climbed to fifth place with 43 points from 29 games, 4 points behind Benevento Calcio, which has a game in hand.
