Serie B (Week 28) : Pro Vercelli hold Avellino to 1-1
ITALY, Feb. 28, 2017 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 28: The match between Pro Vercelli and Avellino ended in a 1-1 draw on Tuesday.
Avellino players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Verde Daniele on penalty in the 8th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Pro Vercelli with a saving goal from Comi Gianmario on penalty in the 90th minute.
AS Avellino 1912 remains in 12nd place with 36 points from 28 games, one point behind Carpi FC 1909.
