Serie B (Week 28) : SPAL beats Salernitana 2-1
ITALY, Feb. 28, 2017 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 28: Two wins in a row for SPAL. After their 2-0 win against Perugia on February 25, the Spallini continued their sensational form in the Serie B with a 2-1 victory over Salernitana this Tuesday.
SPAL dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Zigoni Gianmarco in the 31st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Spallini further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Floccari Sergio with one minute left in regular time.
SPAL Ferrara remains in second place with 51 points from 28 games, one point behind Frosinone Calcio.
