Serie B (Week 29) : Benevento and Salernitana play to a 1-1 draw
ITALY, Mar. 5, 2017 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 29: Benevento was held to a 1-1 draw by Salernitana on Sunday.
Salernitana players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Coda Massimo on penalty in the 34th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Benevento with a saving goal from Ceravolo Fabio on penalty in the 88th minute.
Benevento Calcio remains in fourth place with 48 points from 29 games, 4 points behind Frosinone Calcio, which has a game in hand.
