ITALY, Dec. 24, 2016 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 20: After losing 3-1 to Pro Vercelli on December 17, the Spallini returned to winning ways with a 4-0 victory over Ternana this Saturday.
Zigoni Gianmarco scored dual goals
SPAL dominated the first half thanks to goals from Zigoni Gianmarco ('4, '15). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Spallini further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Beghetto Andrea '60 and Giani Nicolas '89).
SPAL Ferrara climbed to third place with 35 points from 20 games, 3 points behind Frosinone Calcio.
