Serie B (Week 19) : Vicenza beats Ternana 2-1
ITALY, Dec. 17, 2016 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 19: Two wins in a row for Vicenza. After their 1-0 win against Hellas Verona on December 10, the Biancorossi continued their sensational form in the Serie B with a 2-1 victory over Ternana this Saturday.
Vicenza dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Giacomelli Stefano in the 23rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Biancorossi further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Pucino Raffaele on penalty with just 2 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Vicenza Calcio climbed to 17th place with 21 points from 19 games, tie on points with FC Pro Vercelli 1892.
