Serie B (Week 19) : Novara beats Cesena 3-1
ITALY, Dec. 17, 2016 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 19: After their 0-0 draw against Brescia on December 11, the Biancoazzurri returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Cesena this Saturday.
Novara dominated the first half thanks to goals from Sansone Gianluca ('22), Scognamiglio Gennaro ('39) and Calderoni Marco ('41). Leading 3-0 at the break, the Biancoazzurri further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by in the th minute.
Novara Calcio remains in 11st place with 25 points from 19 games, one point behind Spezia Calcio.
