ITALY, Dec. 24, 2016 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 20: After losing 2-1 to Bari on December 17, the Lupi bounced back with a 3-2 victory over Salernitana this Saturday.
Avellino dominated the first half thanks to goals from Jidayi Wiliam ('17) and Ardemagni Matteo ('45). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Lupi further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Verde Daniele seconds before the end of regulation.
US Salernitana 1919 are down in 17th place with 21 points from 20 games, one point behind US Latina Calcio.
