Serie B (Week 21) : Salernitana defeats Perugia 2-1
ITALY, Dec. 30, 2016 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 21: After losing 1-2 to Carpi on December 24 and 3-2 to Avellino on December 24, I Granata returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Perugia this Friday.
Salernitana dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Donnarumma Alfredo in the 16th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, I Granata further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Coda Massimo in the 79th minute.
AC Perugia remains in 7th place with 30 points from 21 games, one point behind AS Cittadella, which has a game in hand.
