Serie B (Week 21) : Verona beats Cesena 3-0
ITALY, Dec. 30, 2016 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 21: After their 1-1 draw against Carpi on December 24, the Gialloblu bounced back with a 3-0 victory over Cesena this Friday.
Hellas Verona dominated the first half thanks to goals from Bessa Daniel ('20) and Pazzini Giampaolo ('28). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Gialloblu further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Boldor Deian in the 61st minute.
Hellas Verona remains in first place with 41 points from 21 games, a 3-point lead over runner-up Frosinone Calcio.
