Serie B (Week 22) : Latina defeats Verona 2-0
ITALY, Jan. 21, 2017 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 22: After a 3-0 victory over Cesena on December 30, the Gialloblu lost 2-0 against Latina.
Latina dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Brosco Riccardo in the 10th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Latina players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Boakye Richmond seconds before the end of regulation.
Hellas Verona remains in first place with 41 points from 22 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up SPAL Ferrara.
