ITALY, Jan. 29, 2017 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 23: After losing 2-0 to Latina on January 21, the Gialloblu returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Salernitana this Sunday.
Hellas Verona dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Pazzini Giampaolo in the 22nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Gialloblu further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Luppi Davide in the 60th minute.
Hellas Verona remains in first place with 44 points from 23 games, a 3-point lead over runner-up Frosinone Calcio.
