ITALY, Jan. 28, 2017 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 23: After losing 2-0 to SPAL on January 21, the Stregoni bounced back with a 3-0 victory over Carpi this Saturday.
Ceravolo Fabio scored dual goals
Benevento dominated the first half thanks to goals from Ceravolo Fabio ('17 on penalty, '45). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Stregoni further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Falco Filippo in the 71st minute.
Benevento Calcio climbed to third place with 40 points from 23 games, only one point behind Frosinone Calcio.
