Serie B (Week 23) : Trapani beats Pro Vercelli 3-1
ITALY, Jan. 28, 2017 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 23: Two wins in a row for Trapani. After their 2-1 win against Novara on January 21, the Granata continued their sensational form in the Serie B with a 3-1 victory over Pro Vercelli this Saturday.
Pro Vercelli had started off well by taking the lead in the 45th minute with a goal by La Mantia Andrea. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Granata nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Pagliarulo Luca '62, Barilla Antonino '81 and Jallow Lamin '90).
FC Pro Vercelli 1892 are down in 20th place with 24 points from 22 games, tie on points with AC Cesena.
