Serie B (Week 23) : Cesena and Ascoli play to a 2-2 draw
ITALY, Jan. 28, 2017 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 23: The match between Cesena and Ascoli ended in a 2-2 draw on Saturday.
Cesena players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Renzetti Francesco in the 27th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Rigione Michele goal ('75) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Ascoli with goals by Gatto Leonardo ('56 on penalty) and Perez Leonardo ('90 on penalty).
Ascoli Calcio 1898 climbed to 12nd place with 28 points from 22 games, tie on points with Spezia Calcio.
