Serie B (Week 24) : Cesena defeats Carpi 2-1
ITALY, Feb. 5, 2017 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 24: After their 3-3 draw against Perugia on January 28 and 2-2 draw against Ascoli on January 28, the Cavallucci Marini bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Carpi this Sunday.
Cesena dominated the first half thanks to goals from Balzano Antonio ('24) and Cocco Andrea ('40). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Cavallucci Marini further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by in the th minute.
Carpi FC 1909 are down in 10th place with 33 points from 24 games, tie on points with FC Bari 1908.
