ITALY, Mar. 17, 2017 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 31: After two straigth draws against Salernitana and Virtus Entella, the Stregoni lost 3-1 against Perugia.
Perugia dominated the first half thanks to goals from Nicastro Francesco ('1) and Di Carmine Samuel ('36). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Grifoni further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Acampora Gennaro in the 66th minute.
Benevento Calcio remains in fourth place with 49 points from 31 games, 4 points behind Frosinone Calcio, which has a game in hand.
