Serie B (Week 31) : SPAL beats Carpi 4-1
ITALY, Mar. 18, 2017 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 31: Two wins in a row for SPAL. After their 2-0 win against Cesena on March 11, the Spallini continued their sensational form in the Serie B with a 4-1 victory over Carpi this Saturday.
Floccari Sergio scored dual goals
SPAL dominated the first half thanks to goals from Floccari Sergio ('8, '38) and Antenucci Mirco ('11 on penalty). Leading 3-0 at the break, the Spallini further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Zigoni Gianmarco in stoppage time.
SPAL Ferrara remains in first place with 58 points from 31 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up Frosinone Calcio.
