ITALY, May. 13, 2017 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 41: After three straigth victories against Spezia, Salernitana and Trapani, the Canarini lost 2-1 against Benevento.
Benevento dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Puscas George in the 43rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Stregoni further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Ceravolo Fabio in stoppage time.
Frosinone Calcio remains in third place with 71 points from 41 games, 2 points behind Hellas Verona.
