ITALY, Sep. 9, 2017 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 3: Two wins in a row for Cremonese. After their 3-1 win against Avellino on September 3, Grigiorossi continued their sensational form in the Serie B with a 4-1 victory over Pro Vercelli this Saturday.
Cremonese dominated the first half thanks to goals from Pesce Simone ('8) and Brighenti Andrea ('38). Leading 2-0 at the break, Grigiorossi further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Cavion Michele '81 and Mokulu Benjamin '90).
US Cremonese climbed to fourth place with 6 points from 3 games, tie on points with AC Perugia, which has a game in hand.
