Serie B (Week 9) : Ascoli and Venice play to a 3-3 draw
ITALY, Oct. 14, 2017 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 9: The match between Ascoli and Venezia ended in a 3-3 draw on Saturday.
Venezia players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Zigoni Gianmarco in the 15th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite goals by Marsura Davide ('60) and Geijo Alexandre ('74) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Ascoli with goals by Carpani Gianluca ('50) and Favilli Andrea ('56, '62).
Venezia FC climbed to fourth place with 14 points from 9 games, tie on points with Empoli FC, which has a game in hand.
