Serie B (Week 8) : Venice beats Carpi 2-0
ITALY, Oct. 8, 2017 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 8: Two wins in a row for Venezia. After their 2-3 win against Ternana on September 30, Lagunari continued their sensational form in the Serie B with a 2-0 victory over Carpi this Sunday.
Venezia dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Marsura Davide in the 37th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Lagunari further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Pinato Marco in the 75th minute.
Venezia FC climbed to 6th place with 13 points from 8 games, tie on points with AS Cittadella.
