ITALY, Oct. 24, 2017 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 11: After losing 1-0 to Venezia on October 21, the Azzurri returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Pescara this Tuesday.
Caputo Francesco scored dual goals
Empoli dominated the first half thanks to goals from Ninkovic Nikola ('14) and Caputo Francesco ('36 on penalty). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Azzurri further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Caputo Francesco with just 4 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Empoli FC remains in first place with 20 points from 11 games, one point ahead of runner-up Frosinone Calcio.
