VIGO, Jun. 23, 1982 (AMP) — Spain 82 : Italy tied 1-1 with Cameroon (halftime: 0-0), in a World Cup group stage game on Wednesday afternoon at the Balaidos Stadium in Vigo.

No goals in the first half and one each in the second, Graziani ('60) for Italy, M'Bida ('61) for Cameroon.

Italy advance to the next round of the ongoing FIFA World Cup. Cameroon is eliminated.
