May. 12, 2004 (AMP) — Germany 2006 (Oceania Qualifiers) : Tahiti tied 0-0 with New Caledonia, in a qualifying game for the 2006 FIFA World Cup on Wednesday.

The result put the Tahitians second in Group 1 with 4 points. In their next game, Tahiti will meet Tonga on May 17, while New Caledonia will face the Solomon Islands.
