May. 17, 2004 (AMP) — Germany 2006 (Oceania Qualifiers) : New Caledonia defeated the Cook islands by a big score of 8-0 (halftime: 6-0), in a World Cup qualifying game on Monday.

The result put the New Caledonians third in Group 1 with 4 points. The Cook islands is bottom with no points. In their last game, New Caledonia will meet Tonga on May 19.
