GERMANY, Feb. 26, 2016 (AMP) — 2. Bundesliga / Match day 23: After their 1-1 draw against VfL Bochum on February 22 and 1-1 draw against Fortuna Düsseldorf on February 22, FC Nürnberg bounced back with a 2-1 victory over SpVgg Greuther Fürth this Friday.
SpVgg Greuther Fürth forward Robert Žulj opened the score in the 6th minute, before seeing FC Nürnberg catch up in the 40th minute thanks to Sebastian Kerk. 1-1 at half time. FC Nürnberg eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Füllkrug with just 6 minutes remaining in regulation time.
1. FC Nürnberg remains in third place with 41 points from 23 games, tie on points with SC Freiburg, which has a game in hand.
