GERMANY, Feb. 27, 2016 (AMP) — 2. Bundesliga / Match day 23: Two wins in a row for SC Freiburg. After their 0-2 win against SV Sandhausen on February 21, the Breisgau-Brasilianer continued their sensational form in the 2. Bundesliga with a 2-0 victory over FC Kaiserslautern this Saturday.
SC Freiburg dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Nicolas Höfler in the 8th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Breisgau-Brasilianer further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Niederlechner in the 48th minute.
SC Freiburg remains in second place with 44 points from 23 games, 6 points behind RB Leipzig.
