GERMANY, Nov. 23, 2014 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 12: Two wins in a row for Augsburg. After their 3-0 win against Paderborn on November 8, Augsburg continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 1-0 victory over Stuttgart this Sunday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Dutch defender Paul Verhaegh on penalty in the 72nd minute.
FC Augsburg climbed to 6th place with 18 points from 12 games, only one point behind Hannover 96.
