Bundesliga (Week 13) : Augsburg defeats HSV 3-1
GERMANY, Nov. 29, 2014 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 13: Three wins in a row for Augsburg. After their success against Paderborn and Stuttgart, Augsburg continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 3-1 victory over Hamburger SV this Saturday.
Hamburger SV had started off well by taking the lead in the 45th minute with a goal by Dutch midfielder Rafael van der Vaart. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Augsburg players nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Altıntop '50, Bobadilla '62 and Verhaegh '70 on penalty).
FC Augsburg climbed to fourth place with 21 points from 13 games, 2 points behind Bayer Leverkusen.
