Bundesliga (Week 14) : Augsburg defeats FC Köln 2-1
GERMANY, Dec. 6, 2014 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 14: Four wins in a row for Augsburg. After their success against Paderborn, Stuttgart and Hamburger SV, Augsburg continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 2-1 victory over FC Köln this Saturday.
FC Köln had started off well by taking the lead in the 13th minute with a goal by Nigerian forward Anthony Ujah. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Augsburg players nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Djurdjic '53 and Esswein '90).
FC Augsburg climbed to third place with 24 points from 14 games, 5 points behind VfL Wolfsburg.
