GERMANY, Nov. 29, 2014 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 13: Two wins in a row for Schalke 04. After their 3-2 win against Wolfsburg on November 22, the Royal Blues continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 4-1 victory over Mainz this Saturday.
Klaas-Jan Huntelaar scored tripple goals
Schalke 04 dominated the first half thanks to goals from Huntelaar ('9, '25). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Royal Blues further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Barnetta '54 and Huntelaar '61).
FC Schalke 04 climbed to 6th place with 20 points from 13 games, tie on points with Borussia Mönchengladbach, which has a game in hand.
