Bundesliga (Week 19) : Hannover and Mainz 05 play out 1-1 draw
GERMANY, Feb. 3, 2015 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 19: The match between Hannover 96 and Mainz ended in a 1-1 draw on Tuesday.
Hannover 96 players started off well by taking the lead thanks to French forward Jimmy Briand in the 26th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Mainz with a saving goal from Colombian midfielder Elkin Soto in the 77th minute.
Hannover 96 remains in 8th place with 25 points from 19 games, one point behind TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, which has a game in hand.
