GERMANY, Feb. 4, 2015 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 19: After their 1-1 draw against Eintracht Frankfurt on January 31 and 0-0 draw against Borussia Dortmund on January 31, Bayer Leverkusen bounced back with a 1-0 victory over Hertha Berlin this Wednesday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Bayer Leverkusen forward Stefan Kießling in the 49th minute.
Bayer Leverkusen climbed to fifth place with 32 points from 19 games, only one point behind FC Augsburg.
