GERMANY, Oct. 17, 2015 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 9: After losing 0-3 to FC Köln on October 4, the Royal Blues returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Hertha Berlin this Saturday.
Schalke 04 dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by defender Benedikt Höwedes in the 27th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Royal Blues further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Meyer in stoppage time.
FC Schalke 04 remains in third place with 19 points from 9 games, one point behind Borussia Dortmund.
