GERMANY, Dec. 13, 2015 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 16: Two wins in a row for Augsburg. After their 0-1 win against FC Köln on December 5, Augsburg continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 2-1 victory over Schalke 04 this Sunday.
Augsburg dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Korean defender Hong Jeong-ho in the 34th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Augsburg players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Caiuby Francisco in stoppage time.
FC Schalke 04 are down in 8th place with 24 points from 16 games, tie on points with 1. FSV Mainz 05.
