Bundesliga (Week 19) : Schalke 04 beats Darmstadt 2-0
GERMANY, Jan. 30, 2016 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 19: After losing 1-3 to Werder Bremen on January 24, the Royal Blues bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Darmstadt 98 this Saturday.
Schalke 04 dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Max Meyer in the 43rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Royal Blues further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Sané in the 53rd minute.
FC Schalke 04 climbed to fifth place with 30 points from 19 games, only one point behind Bayer Leverkusen.
