GERMANY, Jan. 31, 2016 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 19: Four wins in a row for Bayern Munich. After their success against FC Ingolstadt, Hannover 96 and Hamburger SV, the Bavarians continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 2-0 victory over Hoffenheim this Sunday.
Robert Lewandowski scored dual goals
Bayern Munich dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Polish forward Robert Lewandowski in the 32nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Bavarians further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Lewandowski in the 64th minute.
Bayern Munich remains in first place with 52 points from 19 games, a 8-point lead over runner-up Borussia Dortmund.
