Bundesliga (Week 18) : Hoffenheim and Bayer tied at 1-1
GERMANY, Jan. 23, 2016 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 18: Bayer Leverkusen was held to a 1-1 draw by Hoffenheim on Saturday.
Hoffenheim players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Swedish midfielder Jiloan Hamad in the 40th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Bayer Leverkusen with a saving goal from Turkish defender Ömer Toprak in the 75th minute.
Bayer Leverkusen remains in fifth place with 28 points from 18 games, one point behind Borussia Mönchengladbach, which has a game in hand.
