Bundesliga (Week 18) : Eintracht beats Wolfsburg 3-2
GERMANY, Jan. 24, 2016 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 18: Two wins in a row for Eintracht Frankfurt. After their 2-1 win against Werder Bremen on December 19, the Eagles continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 3-2 victory over Wolfsburg this Sunday.
Alexander Meier scored tripple goals
Wolfsburg had started off well by taking the lead in the 25th minute with a goal by Brazilian defender Dante Bonfim. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Eagles nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Meier '66, '73, '90).
VfL Wolfsburg remains in 7th place with 26 points from 18 games, one point behind FC Schalke 04, which has a game in hand.
