Bundesliga (Week 18) : Stuttgart defeats FC Köln 3-1

GERMANY, Jan. 23, 2016 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 18: Two wins in a row for Stuttgart. After their 3-1 win against Wolfsburg on December 19, Die Roten continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 3-1 victory over FC Köln this Saturday.

FC Köln forward Anthony Modeste opened the score in the 19th minute on penalty, before seeing Stuttgart catch up in the 36th minute thanks to Daniel Didavi. 1-1 at half time. Die Roten eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Werner ('51) and Gentner ('83).

1. FC Köln remains in 9th place with 24 points from 18 games, tie on points with 1. FSV Mainz 05.
