Bundesliga (Week 18) : Darmstadt beats Hannover 2-1
GERMANY, Jan. 23, 2016 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 18: After losing 0-4 to Hertha Berlin on December 20 and 3-2 to Mönchengladbach on December 20, Darmstadt 98 returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Hannover 96 this Saturday.
Sandro Wagner scored dual goals
Hannover 96 forward Hugo Almeida opened the score in the 10th minute, before seeing Darmstadt 98 catch up in the 31st minute thanks to Sandro Wagner. 1-1 at half time. Darmstadt 98 eventually won the game in the second period with with another goal by Wagner in the 48th minute.
SV Darmstadt 98 climbed to 12nd place with 21 points from 18 games, only one point behind Hamburger SV.
