Bundesliga (Week 21) : Bayer beats Darmstadt 2-1
GERMANY, Feb. 13, 2016 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 21: After their 0-0 draw against Bayern Munich on February 6, Bayer Leverkusen returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Darmstadt 98 this Saturday.
Darmstadt 98 had started off well by taking the lead in the 28th minute with a goal by forward Sandro Wagner. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Bayer Leverkusen players nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Sulu '62 own and Brandt '77).
Bayer Leverkusen climbed to third place with 35 points from 21 games, 13 points behind Borussia Dortmund.
