GERMANY, Feb. 14, 2016 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 21: After their 1-1 draw against FC Köln on February 7, Hamburger SV bounced back with a 3-2 victory over Mönchengladbach this Sunday.
Mönchengladbach opened the score in the score in the 14th minute thanks to Fabian Johnson, before Hamburger SV regained the advantage with Hinteregger Martin ('38 own) and Rudņevs ('41). Leading 2-1 at the break, Hamburger SV players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Iličević with just 10 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Borussia Mönchengladbach are down in 7th place with 32 points from 21 games, one point behind 1. FSV Mainz 05.
